Background

Hi! Thank you for taking time to read my bio. I have a variety of work and life experience that has brought me to a place in my career in which I am able to relate, motivate, and help people in all stages of life improve their health with realistic nutrition and wellness education. I set off from my small mountain town in the heart of Idaho to Washington State University to become a physical therapist. After earning a B.S. in Biology with a pre-physical therapy option and a minor in Psychology, I moved to Seattle. There, I attended Bastyr University, the premier natural health sciences university, and earned a Master’s of Science in Nutrition. I completed a dietetic internship at Tulane University and became a Registered Dietitian. I am a military spouse, so I have lived and worked all over the US in Alaska, Arizona, California, South Carolina, and Utah. I have worked in in-patient hospitals, NICU, outpatient counseling, pediatric outpatient, clinical research, adjunct faculty, and now private practice. We were also fortunate to live in Germany for 4 years before moving back to Idaho. With all of these adventures, I have been able to bring my whole foods, holistic and integrative approach to nutrition, and food as medicine, wherever we have gone. I am here to help with personalized nutrition to achieve your best health.

Approach

"Having grown up in the mountains, my philosophy is to elevate health with positive nutrition guidance. I approach each person like a snowflake, no two are the exact same. There are similarities, but there is no one-size-fits all answer. Thus, I do not subscribe to fad diets or use words like “never” and “always”. I keep my nutrition recommendations realistic and I am here to help elevate you to the top."
