Welcome to my practice! My name is Ijeoma. I am a Registered Dietitian with over 15 years of experience in nutrition counseling. I enjoy helping individuals and families improve their health through practical, evidence-based nutrition care. My goal is to help you discover a realistic, stress-free approach to healthy eating—one that fits your life, not fights it. Whether you're looking to lose weight, maintain it, or manage a chronic condition, I’ll work with you to create a personalized plan that feels doable and empowering. My focus areas include weight loss with or without GLP-1's, heart health, fatty liver, and GI intolerances. I specialize in helping clients make meaningful lifestyle changes that support long-term wellness, not quick fixes. If you're navigating health concerns or simply want to feel better in your body, I’m here to guide you with compassion, clarity, and accountability.
I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine and completed my Coordinated Nutrition Program at Cal State LA. I recently completed a Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis on Community Leadership because I believe deeply in the power of prevention and the role nutrition plays at every stage of life. Inspired by research on longevity and chronic disease prevention, I truly believe "Food is Medicine." My experience spans inpatient acute care, rehab, and outpatient nutritional counseling.
Outside of work, I love to travel, exercise, and cook—especially when I’m recreating healthier versions of my family’s favorite recipes. Food should be joyful, nourishing, and culturally meaningful, and I bring that philosophy into every session. I started my private practice because I wanted to offer clients a space where nutrition feels approachable and transformative. I’m passionate about helping people understand the “why” behind nutrition therapy and supporting them in building habits that last. Let’s work together to make your health goals achievable—and sustainable.
My approach considers the whole person, not just what you eat, but also your lifestyle, culture, family responsibilities, environment, and personal values. I blend evidence-based nutrition therapy with personal warmth to help clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. I believe that healthy eating should be joyful, realistic, and stress-free—not rigid or overwhelming. I take time to understand each client, then co-create personalized plans that feel doable and meaningful.
