Hola, nice to meet you! I’m Natali Mendez, a Mexican-American Registered Dietitian dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of diverse and underserved communities. My passion lies in providing inclusive nutrition education and counseling, creating culturally relevant interventions, and advocating for equitable access to nutrition care.
As a bilingual dietitian (English and Spanish), I strive to build strong, empathetic connections with clients and families from all cultural backgrounds. I believe that honoring lived experiences and cultural food traditions is essential to meaningful, sustainable change.
I earned my Master’s degree from Colorado State University, where my thesis explored functional foods and their role in managing hypertension among older adults and menopausal women. I completed my dietetic internship through Diversify Dietetics, with rotations specializing in kidney nutrition and fitness-focused nutrition counseling.
During our sessions, clients can expect to feel truly heard, supported, and empowered. My approach centers on realistic, sustainable habits and celebrates the cultural foods that make each person’s story unique.
Outside of work, you can usually find me in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, curled up with a good book, or going for a run—yes, for fun!
