Throughout my career, I have worked in various clinical settings, providing Medical Nutrition Therapy, nutritional counseling, and menu development. I have extensive experience with the geriatric population. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Dietetics from Drexel University and a Master of Science from Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia. Member of the Academy of Food and Nutrition
My interest in food, nutrition, and cooking started at a very early age. I planned and prepared meals for my family at ten years old. I always felt there was a connection between diet and how active, strong, and healthy we look and feel. I pursued a degree in nutrition while catering. earning a degree while making important connection for people enjoying food with nutrition and health. This was a natural career choice. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I continue to learn, develop recipes, try new ones, and cook for family and friends. I educate others on ways to enjoy and use food and nutrition for disease control and prevention, to achieve optimal health and desired weight. I use an individual practical approach to "diet". I help Clients reach their personal health goals and enjoy food as part of their daily lives, using food for nourishment, pleasure and medical nutrition therapy in disease and prevention.
