Background

With a Master's degree in nutrition from Columbia University and a Bachelor's of Science in exercise physiology and chemistry, I bring extensive education and a holistic perspective to my dietetic practice. My journey into the field of nutrition was shaped by my background as a competitive figure skater for Team USA. Competing at an elite level instilled in me discipline, drive, and an understanding of the incredible ways food can fuel individuals to achieve their highest potential.

My graduate studies exposed me to the latest evidence-based practices and cemented my belief in a compassionate, client-centered approach. Using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral techniques, I create an open, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and empowered to make sustainable dietary changes tailored to enhance their health and their lives.

I recognize that food serves so many more purposes than just calories and nutrients. My Italian heritage, in particular, taught me how food can foster meaningful traditions, connections, and stories. To me, sharing meals together is one of the greatest joys in life. I strive to honor that while guiding clients toward balanced relationships with food that reduce guilt and promote joy.

My diverse background and experiences, both personal and professional, allow me to approach each client as a whole person. I meet them where they are, collaborate on personalized goals, and offer the compassionate support and expert guidance needed to inspire lasting change.

In my free time, you can often find me in the kitchen cooking, baking, and experimenting with food science. I love exploring new flavors and cuisines. Travel is another passion of mine, especially visiting Italy to immerse myself in the culinary treasures it offers. I also enjoy staying active with running, yoga, and hiking. Curling up with a good book or listening to a nutrition podcast also tops my list of favorite relaxing activities when I’m not meeting with clients.

I feel endlessly grateful to combine my two deepest passions - food and helping others - into a meaningful career. I look forward to continuing to grow as a dietitian, working with diverse clients, and finding new ways to spread the joy of healthy, compassionate eating.
