I am a Registered Dietitian with a Masters degree in Education. I love the science of nutrition and translating it into practical application for those around me. I have worked with with clients and as an educator of future dietitians simultaneously for 20 years. Doing both has enabled me to develop a deep understanding of how education and learning can benefits those looking to grow and make positive changes.
My clients can expect to come away from our sessions with the knowledge-driven motivation to meet their health goals. I enjoy working with adults who are seeking new "ways of eating" rather than diets and am especially interested in helping women with hormone and age related challenges.
I love all things food and cooking and love spending a day off in the kitchen at home in Ocean Springs with my husband. I have a burgeoning library of food and nutrition books that I review and post on my blog, Food for Thought at www.alagniappelifestyle.com.
