Norma Beardwood, RD

I am a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and Licensed Dietetian in TX and will be applying for LD credentials in IL today. I have been in practice for 40 years and keep up-to-date with the latest information through continuing education credits and teaching as a clinical professor full-time at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I have worked most of my time in the clinical setting in acute care hospitals. My passion is working with Eating Disorders. I also enjoy home critical nutrition care and I am well versed in all aspects of clinical nutrition including diabetes, heart disease, pulmonary disease and GI diseases. I also have credentials as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Licensed Professional Counselor. I use this to help clients to get motivated to make small, healthy changes in their lifestyle.
