About Me

I am a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree in Community Nutrition. The first three-quarters of my career were spent as a clinical dietitian, working in both a large teaching hospital and smaller community hospitals. These experiences provided me with invaluable insight into the medical nutrition side of acute and chronic illnesses, allowing me to support patients in some of their most critical moments. While I deeply valued my time in inpatient care, I transitioned to outpatient nutrition to have the opportunity to guide individuals throughout their entire health journey. Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate that nutrition is highly individualized—what works for one person may not work for another. My goal is to provide personalized guidance because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to achieving long-term success.

I was born and raised in a small, historic town in south-central Pennsylvania. Growing up on my family’s farm instilled in me a deep appreciation for fresh, local food and the rhythms of nature. Now, I have the privilege of raising my own children on the same farm, passing down the values of hard work, tradition, and connection to the land. Some of my fondest memories revolve around food—gathering with my entire family every Sunday for a meal, sharing stories, and simply being together. Those moments shaped my passion for nutrition and my belief in the power of food to bring people closer. Food is so much more than just fuel; it’s part of our culture, our relationships, and our well-being.
