Hello, my name is Melissa. I’ve been an eating disorder trained dietitian for the past 8 years. I value a collaborative approach to help my clients make peace with food, their body, and exercise. My role is to help guide you to a place of health and happiness with compassion and connection. Healthcare can be a shameful place, working with me with a shame-free zone.
When not guiding my clients to dismantle diet culture and discover the joy in eating and self-care, I am spending time outside (with lots of SPF), traveling, and snuggling with my cat.
Missy holds a Bachelor of Science from San Francisco State University in Dietetics with a minor in Holistic Health and a Masters of Science from University of North Dakota in Nutrition specializing in Nutrition Counseling and Nutrition Education with a focus in eating disorder research.
"My clients know me as a compassionate dietitian who can help develop a healthy relationship with food, exercise, and body image. I believe health is a behavior not a number. My clients are those who struggle with eating disorders or have dieted for years and want to break free from the vicious cycle to make peace with food. Through a non-diet approach I work with clients to develop a fulfilling life free from rules and negativity. My nutrition philosophy is based in Heal At Every Size approach."
