Marisa "Isabel" Mendes is a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of experience working in various inpatient and outpatient settings. Isabel received her B.S. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Georgia State University and has a B.A. degree in Spanish. Isabel has a strong interest in Psychology and has obtained training in various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and also Body Image Healing. Isabel is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
Isabel's passion is helping others develop a peaceful, flexible relationship with food and their bodies. She empowers them to make informed choices that support their physical and emotional health, free from the constraints of diet culture and unrealistic body standards.
In her spare time, Isabel enjoy hiking, reading, spending time with family, and snuggling with her cat Zipper.
