With 20 years of rich and varied experience in nutrition, I truly went into the perfect career path for myself. My journey is marked by a specialized certification as a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), a distinction that underscores my commitment and leadership in sports nutrition. This journey began at the Olympic Training Center and further expanded working with Special Forces as a Tactical Dietitian and led to the past 10 years of leading the Performance Nutrition Dept. at the University of Colorado.
My passion for nutrition extends beyond sports, delving into medical nutrition therapy with a focus on areas like weight management, PCOS, and dietary interventions for managing chronic health conditions. I take a holistic approach, catering to the unique needs of clients ranging from recreational enthusiasts to elite athletes across a spectrum of sports, including track and field, mountain biking, gymnastics, and more.
As a Certified Informed Provider on Relative Energy Deficiency Syndrome (RED-S), I'm dedicated to educating my clients on how to foster and maintain a healthy relationship with food. My goal is to empower individuals to achieve their health and performance goals through practical and sustainable nutritional practices.
Outside of work, my life mirrors my professional passions. I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast, often found cycling, trail running, or hiking in the mountains. I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our dog, embodying the balanced lifestyle I advocate for in my practice.
