Background

Welcome to my page!

My name is Krista and I have been a dietitian since July 2018. I received my  Masters in Sports Nutrition from Florida State University in 2018 and my Bachelors in Dietetics from Fontbonne University in 2016. I played NCAA Division 1 Volleyball before transfering to Fontbonne University to finish my Bachelor's.

I was previously a Performance Dietitian working with student-athletes at the University of Missouri at Columbia (Mizzou) from August 2022 - July 2024, Saint Louis University from October 2019 - August 2022, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 2018 - September 2019. Sports I worked with include basketball, baseball, softball, gymnastics, field hockey, volleyball, cross country, track & field (All events), fencing, rowing, and swimming & diving. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to do what I love at such a high level!

Although I have extensive experience in athletics, my approach to nutrition is multi-faceted. Individual experiences shape our beliefs, behaviors, and preferences in ways we aren't aware of. No two clients are alike in my book. If you're tired of cookie-cutter solutions, you'll love working with me. Meaningful change requires a deep understanding of our challenges in order to find creative, effective solutions. I love going on the journey with my clients and helping them achieve long term success.

A little about me and how I achieve my own health and wellness are hobbies like biking, weight-lifting, walking and playing with my dogs, listening to True Crime podcasts, spending time with friends and family, and more!
