Background

Hi! My name is Emily and I am a Registered Dietitian. I was born and raised in NYC where I currently live with my Mini Goldendoodle Cooper.

I attended Dickinson College where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After graduating college, I decided to go back to school to pursue my passion for health and nutrition. I completed both my Master’s in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics and 1200+ hour clinically focused Dietetic Internship at New York University. During my dietetic internship, I spent 6 months at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. After graduating, I spent 8 months as an inpatient Dietitian at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.

In my early teens I lost a significant amount of weight with the help of a dietitian. By working with a dietitian, I learned sustainable, healthy habits that led to lifestyle changes. I attribute these changes to my own long-term success. My own experiences ultimately led me to pursue a career in nutrition.

My counseling philosophy is simple: I want to help you build long-term, sustainable, healthy habits and help you improve your relationship with food. I am a firm believer that all foods fit into a balanced diet. We will focus on what we can add to your diet, not remove. No deprivation, no quick fixes. I will provide nutrition counseling tailored to your specific needs, goals and lifestyle. As your dietitian, I am here to support and guide you to help you reach your health goals.
