Background
I received my undergraduate degree in dietetics from Lipscomb University and completed my dietetic internship at The Ohio State University. I have experience working with a variety of conditions and goals such as disease management, weight management, and redefining the relationship with food (emotional/stress eating). Over the past year I started my own private practice to develop skills in mindful eating and teach how to listen to the body paired with evidenced-based recommendations. I have personally seen the amazing impact that proper nutrition and a healthy relationship with food can have on a whole person and I use this experience when working with clients. In sessions, I will take time to learn about what you’ve tried in the past, what has worked, and what hasn't. I will then provide insight on the next steps based on the information you provide and strive to create an on-going partnership using small, attainable goals each visit.
