As a dietitian, one of the most rewarding things is when clients leave the visit saying they feel more empowered and confident in how to move forward.
I became an oncology dietitian due to personal experiences caring for family members and friends diagnosed with cancer. In addition to oncology, I enjoy working in subject areas such as diabetes, weight management, plant based diets, and gut health.
I have worked as a Registered Dietitian in the outpatient setting for the last 7 years. I completed my dietetic intern training at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. I completed my Master's Degree at New York University and my Bachelor's Degree at the University of New Hampshire.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, husband, and 3 cats!
"As a dietitian I take an empathetic, collaborative approach with clients. I start by assessing your health, lifestyle, and habits. Next I'll provide any nutrition education that might be helpful, and finally we'll create goals to work towards. I'll continue to provide ongoing support and motivation!"
