Hi there! My name is Danielle and I am a Registered Dietitian. My love for nutrition naturally stemmed from loving to eat! I love to try new foods from cuisines all over the world. However, my view of food changed abruptly when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a teenager. I had to gain so much responsibility overnight and I quickly learned that what I put in my body has a direct effect on me. I started to see food as medicine and really began to see improvements on how I felt when my blood sugar was better controlled. That led me to my career in dietetics.
I have been a practicing RD for about 5 years. I have gained experience in diabetes management, cardiac disease, tube feeding management, GI surgery, kidney disease, and more. I am also a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC). If you are looking for support and guidance in managing/preventing chronic disease, artificial nutrition support, weight loss/gain, or simply leading a healthier life, I would love to work with you!

My practice does not involve strict diets or cutting foods out entirely. I aim to find ways to allow you to enjoy the foods you want while making thoughtful changes towards a healthier you!
