Background

My nutrition journey began with my pursuit of health and fitness. With an ever-changing nutrition environment and recommendations seemingly changing daily. I felt lost and confused about what proper nutrition was. This is when I decided to make nutrition my career. I obtained a Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Nutrition from Eastern Illinois University, with my Master's focusing on nutrition education. My time at EIU prepared me for a career in helping clients in a diverse range of settings for a variety of conditions. 

During my career, I have counseled clients in diverse settings for various conditions and goals. These settings include inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care. In these settings, I have counseled clients for pre-diabetes/diabetes, cardiovascular health, weight management, sports nutrition, and more. No matter what the setting or goals there is nothing more enjoyable than helping someone achieve their goals.
