She received her Masters of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Chicago and dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and economics from the University of Michigan. Claire has been a registered dietitian for nearly a decade, with extensive experience as the Lead Dietitian as part of an integrative gastroenterology medical team. Her expertise includes dietary management of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), Crohn's disease, celiac disease, ulcerative colitis (UC), eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), congenital sucrase isomaltase deficiency (CSID), gastroparesis, GERD, and low histamine diets. Her goal is to understand the patient’s unique story and work with them to modify their food choices to meet their health needs while maintaining a liberalized diet. Clients can expect to be heard, respected, and walk away with a unique plan that fits within their lifestyle. Nutrition is a second career for Claire who chose to follow her true passions in life: nutrition and helping others. When not counseling, you will find her out exploring in nature.
