Background

As your dietitian, you can expect me to see you as a person, understand your needs, and provide you with tools to improve your health and your relationship with food. I enjoy helping people with general wellness concerns, weight concerns, and food relationship struggles.

I’m also passionate about working with parents to address pediatric weight concerns, picky eating, and overeating. I focus on the whole person and address nutrition on both a physical and emotional level. Clients walk away with nutrition knowledge, meal, snack, and product ideas, and tools to improve their relationship with food.

I got interested in becoming an RD and building a private practice back when I was a teenager. At that time, I encountered two opposing experiences with food. On one hand, I discovered the joy in choosing the types and amounts of food that would give me energy and satisfaction. On the other hand, I grappled with common issues like the desire for weight loss, self control around food, and body image. This fueled my desire to learn more about nutrition, healthy eating, body image, and how to approach eating and feeding with joy and peace.

I obtained a B.S. in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College and a B.S. in Food and Nutrition from the University of Alabama. I graduated summa cum laude with a GPA of 4.0, going on to complete my dietetic internship with Keith and Associates Distance Dietetic Internship based in Oklahoma. I passed my dietetic exam in August of 2023. I have been working in private practice for about a year.

Outside of work as a Dietitian, you can find me taking care of my young family. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and love experimenting in the kitchen.
