Hi, I'm Ashley — a Registered Dietitian with clinical training across ICU, oncology, GI surgery, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient care. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from San Francisco State University (Magna Cum Laude) and a CIDESCO Diploma, a specialized credential in skin health and aesthetics nutrition that most dietitians don't have.
My practice focuses on medical nutrition therapy for metabolic and chronic conditions — type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, cardiovascular health, chronic kidney disease, and gastrointestinal concerns including IBS, GERD, and gut microbiome health. I also have a dedicated focus on GLP-1 medication support (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound) — helping clients on these medications protect muscle mass, address GI side effects, prevent micronutrient deficiencies, and build eating habits that make their medication sustainable long-term.
What sets me apart: my CIDESCO training allows me to address the skin, hair, and aesthetic changes that often accompany significant weight loss — a dimension of GLP-1 therapy that prescribing physicians rarely discuss and most dietitians aren't trained to speak to. If you're losing weight rapidly and noticing changes in your skin, hair, or overall appearance, that's not something you have to navigate alone or separate from your nutrition care.
I've supported clients navigating chronic disease, complex medication regimens, disordered eating histories, perimenopause, and the very real frustration of having tried everything and still feeling stuck. Whether you come to me with a diagnosis, a prescription, a set of labs, or just a deep exhaustion with conflicting nutrition advice — you're in the right place.
Outside of sessions, I'm a slow-morning person, a strong coffee advocate, a hiking enthusiast, and someone who believes deeply that food should be both nourishing and genuinely enjoyable.
I start where you are, not where a textbook says you should be. Every client gets a personalized plan built around their conditions, labs, medications, and real life — not a generic template. For GLP-1 clients, I focus on muscle preservation, GI side effect management, micronutrient gaps, and sustainable habits. For chronic disease clients, I use evidence-based MNT to move your labs in the right direction. My approach is weight-inclusive, nonjudgmental, and grounded in what works in real life.
