Background

Hi, I am Ashlee!  I am a dietitian excited to walk with you on your journey.  Personally, I have covered a lot of miles.  I am an active runner and a previous college athlete.  Several years ago, I set a world record by pushing my three boys in a triple stroller!  I love joyful movement and setting goals.  Nothing is out of reach!

As a dietitian, I align with the concepts of intuitive eating and honoring hunger and fullness.  Ultimately, you will become the expert of your own body’s needs as we explore new terrains and your own health goals.  Relationships with food and our bodies can be tricky.  My goal is to bring order to chaotic food relationships and focus on food neutrality, while recognizing gentle nutrition.  Nourishment is most important.

I am also a firm advocate that nutrition can optimize athletic performance.  We can talk about strategies for your training and competition days.  Hydration, carbohydrates, and protein are key components.

Teaching and listening are two of my strengths.  I have been a university instructor for over 10 years.  I have experience as a collegiate sports dietitian and inpatient hospital dietitian.  Most recently, I am working on certification as an Intuitive Eating Counselor.  I complete continuing education in the realm of eating disorders to provide the most current treatments for my clients.

I also have experience in prenatal nutrition and childhood nutrition.  I like using detective skills to help individuals with IBS.  Medical nutrition therapy can help with a variety of medical conditions.  Whatever your nutrition goals are, we can figure them out together.

I would love to hear your story and be part of your next chapter of life!
