Being a Dietitian is my calling in life. I graduated from Keiser University over 10 years ago and immediately started working in the field. I take an evidence-based approach along with compassion and an empathetic ear to help others live their best lives and fulfill their nutrition goals. I have gathered a plethora of nutrition advice in my years of practice, through different spaces, such as inpatient care, long-term care and homecare. I am always looking to increase my nutrition knowledge and participate in as many continuing education sessions that I can, to give my clients the most up-to-date and sound information to help you feel your best and accomplish your goals. I look forward to guiding you in your nutrition journey.
As I have spent many years in the homecare space, I consider myself to be very well versed in working with people who may need alternate nutrition, as well as ways to make eating easier for populations that have trouble getting in what they need, such as in the Cancer care patient, or the failure to thrive child, or the adult with gastroparesis. Watching my mother struggle with several autoimmune issues and being a mother to a special needs child, my perspective on nourishment of the body has been felt personally, so it has shaped me into the person I am today and has allowed me to give my all when it comes to nutrition advice.
Approach :I am a problem solver, so I love coming up with solutions to make nutrition accessible and easy to understand. I firmly believe that following a sustainable diet and dining plan is what can lead to long-term adherence to the plan and improve overall nutrition health. Everyone has their own unique set of conditions, and I will work with you to address what it is that you would need in your individual circumstances to ensure you reach your goals.
