I am a registered dietitian in the state of Michigan, I have my bachelors in nutrition and dietetics from Western Michigan University and my masters in clinical dietetics from Grand Valley University. My day job is a dietitian at an in patient skilled nursing facility where I work with a multitude of chronic diseases, manage nutrition support, as well was wound healing. In my free time I really enjoy yoga and hanging out with my cat!
As a dietitian, I am big on taking a client centered and an individualized approach, there is no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition, and I am here to support your individualized goals. In my practice I take a non diet and weight neutral approach, and will never push you to lose weight if that is not apart of your journey. To me, food is such a huge part of our life and can be fun, I don’t believe in restricting or eliminating your favorite foods. My goal is to help you incorporate your favorite foods alongside a healthy lifestyle.
"As a dietitian, I focus on building relationships with my clients and helping them achieve their nutrition related goals. I believe in intuitive eating, listening to your body is important and I believe you can achieve your goals without a restrictive diet and eliminating all of your favorite foods, I have a special interest in eating disorders, gut health, and a wide variety of chronic diseases, in which I will approach them all in a non diet and weight neutral manner."
