Background

Hi! I'm Abigail (Abbie) Alder, MS, RDN, CDN, LDN. I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Nutrition Therapist originally from Syracuse, New York. I completed my Bachelor and Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Buffalo State University, and I currently live in Syracuse, New York.

I have a passion for working with people one-on-one to empower them to reach their health goals through evidenced-based holistic nutrition therapy. We use comprehensive assessments for our holistic approach, and we collaborate to find what works best for you as a person, taking into full account your specific life circumstances. We focus on sustainability, helping you build life-long habits that fit your preferences and lifestyle.

I offer compassion and use trauma-informed nutrition therapy to explore underlying patterns, restore self-trust, and develop personal practices at the pace that feels safest and most comfortable for you. My approach focuses on the deep connection between food, body, and self, addressing stress and fostering lasting, supportive change through curiosity and kindness.

In my free time, I love to cook, practice yoga, go for walks, and do creative projects. I especially enjoy trying new things, traveling, and life-long learning!
