Hi, I’m Leighann Rice—a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, a mother, an artist at heart, and a woman in her late 30s who didn’t see perimenopause coming.

For a long time, I didn’t know what perimenopause was—or that it could begin so early. I didn’t realize that the brain fog, irritability, sleep struggles, and sudden belly fat were connected. I didn’t know my body needed more protein, more muscle, or that strength training would be a non-negotiable part of feeling strong and staying healthy as I aged. I wish someone had told me sooner. I specialize in helping women who are suddenly noticing changes in their body they weren’t prepared for.
