Background

Hi, I’m Sara, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. I work with individuals and families to simplify diabetes management, build confidence, and create sustainable routines that fit real life.

I support clients across the full spectrum of diabetes care, including type 1, gestational, and type 2 diabetes, as well as pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, and less common forms such as MODY and LADA.

Working with me, clients are able to understand their blood sugar patterns, adjust nutrition strategies, and navigate the day-to-day realities of living with diabetes. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been managing diabetes for years, my approach is personalized, practical, and evidence based. Diabetes care should feel clear and manageable, not overwhelming.

I regularly work with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), insulin pump therapy, and all classes of diabetes medications, including insulin, oral agents, and GLP-1/GIP therapies, in collaboration with and in accordance with your prescribing provider’s plan of care.

I help clients interpret glucose trends, fine-tune nutrition and insulin strategies, and integrate medications with individualized meal planning, glucose monitoring, and daily routines—whether you’re new to diabetes technology or looking to optimize your current approach—so care feels safe, effective, and sustainable.

I work with clients who want clear guidance without judgment. My role is to help you turn complex diabetes recommendations into realistic, livable routines—so you feel confident making day-to-day decisions that support your health.

I became a diabetes educator because I believe effective diabetes care goes beyond numbers—it’s about understanding, confidence, and long-term support. My goal is to help you feel capable, informed, and supported as you manage diabetes in a way that works for your life.
