Background

I developed a passion for nutrition during high school when my mom was battling cancer. She now has over 10 years cancer-free! It was during that time I realized how much nutrition impacts our overall health--and my desire to become a dietitian was born.

At 20 years old, I began struggling with acne. While mainly hormone-related, there was a definite dietary component to my acne as well. Through working on my own diet and seeing an Esthetician who specialized in acne I was able to get rid of my acne without any harsh interventions.

During college I was given many opportunities to work in different fields of nutrition due to the unique nature of the program I attended at Loma Linda University, where I received my MS in 2019. I found that I absolutely LOVED nutrition counseling and helping people to realize how improving their nutritional status can improve their overall health in ways they never even imagined.

I am currently a momma to 1 daughter, 1 French Bulldog, and 5 chickens. I have a love of the outdoors and a passion for cooking!
