Background

Ready to make lasting changes to your diet?

I’m a registered dietitian with nearly 20 years of nutrition experience, and I help people make real, sustainable changes to how they eat.

My goal is simple: to help you feel confident, capable, and supported as you build habits that work for your life.

Here’s what I believe:

• The diet police should be fired. There’s no single “perfect” way to eat. The best way of eating is one that nourishes your body, fits your budget, works with your lifestyle, and feels doable long term.

• A healthier relationship with food makes healthy habits easier. When food feels less stressful, good choices come more naturally.

• Small changes add up. Tiny, realistic habits can lead to big, lasting improvements. Every meal is a new opportunity—you have more power than you think!

I help make nutrition simple and practical, focusing on real-life behavior change so healthy habits stick.

Having a Ph.D. in nutritional biology (University of California, Davis) and advanced training in food behavior (postdoctoral research at The University of Arizona, Tucson), I can sort through confusing headlines and diet trends —and translate the science into clear, useful advice. The research provides evidence-based guidance, but what really matters is: how does this apply to you? That’s what we’ll figure out together.

Eat well to live well!

When I’m not working, you might find me traveling in my RV, hiking on a mountaintop, volunteering at a dog shelter, or wandering the grocery store looking for new healthy (and hopefully delicious!) foods to try.

Approach

I personalize support to match your life. Food is about more than nutrients; it’s connected to social customs and connections to each other and the earth. I’ve lived and traveled widely and even experienced homelessness. Thus, I worked with people from all backgrounds, including while in the military, and understand the nuances and challenges around food. Because of this, I meet you where you are. Together, we’ll find balanced, realistic ways of healthful eating that fit your life.
