Background

My name is Sandy. I have been a Registered Dietitian for 20+ years. I am a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian, with a deep knowledge and understanding of nutrition and its impact on overall health and wellbeing. I have dedicated my career to helping adults, teens, and children make positive and sustainable changes to their diet and lifestyle. I have extensive experience working in a clinical setting, providing evidence based nutrition therapy to patients with a wide variety of medical conditions. I also have extensive experience working in the preschool setting helping families with selective eating, food allergies, and weight management. I believe that childhood is such an important time to develop healthy eating behaviors that will carry through to adulthood. Throughout my career I have maintained a commitment to staying up to date with the latest research and trends in nutrition. I am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I also hold a certificate in Pediatric and Adult Weight Management through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. I have assisted many patients with different conditions including Diabetes Mellitus, Pre-Diabetes (Impaired Glucose Tolerance), Gestational Diabetes, Pregnancy Nutrition, PCOS, High Cholesterol, High Triglycerides, High Blood Pressure, Congestive Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, Fatty Liver, GI Disorders, Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Disorder, Acid Reflux (GERD), Oncology, Renal/Kidney Disease, Weight Management, Bariatric Surgery, Pressure Ulcers, as well as many other conditions.
