Background

My journey into nutrition and dietetics began at Keene State College where I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science, focusing on nutrition. This was later complemented by a Graduate Certificate and completion of my Dietetic Internship at Iowa State University. My educational background laid the groundwork for a diverse career in nutrition. I've applied my expertise across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, long-term care, higher education, and home care. My journey into the specialization of women's health and lactation was deeply personal and inspired by my own experiences as a mother of two. These fundamental moments in my life ignited a passion for supporting other women through their unique health and nutritional needs during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. To further this commitment, I became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), aiming to empower mothers with the knowledge and support necessary for a successful lactation journey.

Away from work, my world revolves around family moments, exploring new hiking trails, enjoying calm beach days, reading a good book, and the exploring culinary horizons. These personal pursuits enrich my professional life, combining my passion for health and wellness with everyday joy and fulfillment.
