I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) living in South Carolina. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Central Michigan University. I have been a professional dietitian for almost a decade. I have been trained in functional and integrative nutrition. I am also board certified in oncology nutrition. I became interested in nutrition after watching multiple family members struggle with chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes. I wanted to help my loved ones and be as healthy as I could myself. For a time, I personally struggled with disordered eating and became too regimented with my food choices and intake levels. This was not only unhealthy, but unsustainable. As I learned more about nutrition and how different foods impact your health, I developed a healthier relationship with food and a deep interest for nutrition. I am passionate about health and fitness. I love being outside, hiking, and having an active life style. In my own life, I prioritize healthy eating, managing stress, being social, and getting sufficient sleep. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures and types of food. I believe in enjoying life while also maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I don’t believe in following strict, regimented diets unless it is necessary to manage chronic diseases or GI issues. I think it is okay to indulge in all of what life has to offer as long as there is a balance. I believe that individualized nutrition is a vital component to each person’s health journey. I help clients make small and sustainable changes that can lead to impactful, long lasting results. I love to utilize my expertise in nutrition to provided education and counseling to enhance the quality of life of my clients. How can I help you?
