Background

Hi! I’m Madison, I am a registered dietitian with a passion for food, cooking, baking, and the science behind it all!

During our sessions, we will explore your motivations to begin or continue a journey and we will work together to create realistic and achievable goals that will help to encourage and motivate you to keep you going through the process.

My areas of focus include mindful and intuitive eating, emotional eating, weight loss, diabetes management, and women’s health.

I received a Bachelors of Arts degree from West Chester University in Psychology in 2014 that supports my passion for mindfulness and intuitive eating.

I pursued my passion for nutrition at Delaware State University and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics in 2018.

I have been practicing as a Registered Dietitian since January of 2019 within the areas of community nutrition, nutrition counseling, weight management, as well as clinical long term and acute care.

Some of my passions (besides food of course) include kayaking and exploring local state park trails with my toddler. I have lived in several states throughout my life, which has inspired my love for travel and adventure.

For the past few years, I have envisioned having my own practice as a dietitian that can help others come to peace with food and to help them find food freedom, as I was able to find myself, after many years of learning and practice. I strongly believe that food freedom and health go hand in hand. Are you ready to start your journey?

Approach

"Tired of counting calories and tracking meals? Are you ready to explore a different and more personalized approach to the traditional diet methods that involves digging deeper with food, feelings, body cues and more? My approach as a dietitian is to help you create realistic and achievable goals that will help to guide you through your journey. I aim to encourage and support you through the process, and I believe in adding foods and tools, as opposed to restriction and taking foods away."
