Throughout my 9-year career as a registered dietitian I have gained experience in
multiple areas. I started my career working at a level 1 trauma center. I have worked in
a hybrid skilled nursing facility/post-acute care center. I recently stepped down from my
position of six years as a director in foodservice as I was missing the true why I became a dietitian and that was to have that one-on-one connection with people. My drive has always been to help people learn that connection between food and how it can also be medicine to their body.
I am a mother to 3 kiddos that test me every day with their own nutrition habits. My husband and I love
any chance we can get to disconnect and take them on a glamping trailer trip find and
find a scenic trail to hike. Anyone that knows me knows I am a foodie! I work out to eat.
As your provider, I am aware of the challenges and the mountains, it may feel like you
are on to get to better health. Whether you are looking to improve your diabetes,
hypertension, lose weight, gain weight, or have GI issues... I have
spent most of my career assessing very ill patients and have as the saying goes seen it all.
When you work with me, we will work together to tackle your nutrition challenges. You will learn a new outlook on eating healthy food, making realistic and lifelong change....no more fad diets! It is my joy for you to learn how amazing you can feel by making the changes with nutrition. I believe that what a healthy diet looks like to you is just like a good pair of shoes, a diet isn't 'one size fits all'.
