Background

I have been a registered dietitian for 19 years with experience working in hospitals as well as out in the community promoting the prevention of chronic disease and educating disease management strategies. My focus areas include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, women’s health and menopause, and adult and pediatric weight management. I believe that being up to date with current research, guidelines, and strategies are important to the success of my clients. Continuing my education has always been a long-term goal of mine and I am currently a health sciences doctoral student.

I am the mother of two wonderful children, 15 and 16 years of age. My daughter just became an Eagle Scout and will be graduating high school this year. My son is a life scout and will be working on his eagle project this year as well. Scouting is a big part of our lives and my husband, and I, devote time every week as scoutmasters to encourage teens to build lifelong skills and have fun! My other interests including cooking, traveling, and all activates on the water.

I'm excited to work with you! I am not a one size fits all professional and I know we can work together to include nourishing foods that are personally enjoyable, satisfying, and can meet your needs. I believe that by working together we will discover opportunities for you to include valuable foods in your daily eating routines. With a focus on eating whole foods and positive decision-making we all can continue to fuel ourselves to better health.
