Background

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, with a passion for diabetes management, chronic disease prevention, long-term metabolic health, and integrating mindfulness into nutrition and lifestyle.

My approach blends evidence-based medical nutrition therapy with mindful eating, anti-inflammatory nutrition, and positive psychology. I work collaboratively with clients to create realistic, personalized strategies that support blood sugar control, overall well-being, and sustainable lifestyle change—without rigidity or guilt. I place strong emphasis on culturally sensitive care and meeting each person where they are.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. This training shaped my belief that mental strength, mindset, and self-compassion are essential components of lasting health.

In addition to my clinical work, I am the founder of Zesty Life 365, a well-being planner rooted in positive psychology and designed to help people bring more structure, balance, and joy into their daily lives.

I am deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward feeling healthier, more confident, and more at ease in their relationship with food and their bodies.
