I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist who specializes in diabetes management, metabolic health, and helping people build a healthier, more positive, and intentional relationship with food and fitness.
My approach combines evidence-based nutrition therapy, mindful eating, anti-inflammatory nutrition, and positive psychology. I work with clients to create personalized, realistic plans that support blood sugar control, sustainable habits, and overall well-being—with compassion and kindness rather than perfection as a guiding principle.
Background
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Illinois Chicago and my Master's degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Through this training, I came to understand that lasting health isn't just about what you eat—it's also about how you think, how you care for yourself, and how you show up for your own well-being.
I'm also the founder of Zesty Life 365, a well-being planner rooted in positive psychology, designed to help people bring more balance, structure, and joy into everyday life.
I believe in meeting you where you are, whether you're managing a new diabetes diagnosis, trying to improve your energy and metabolic health, or simply ready to feel more confident and at ease in your body. My goal is to help you make changes that actually fit your life.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me enjoying the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, wandering through the halls of the Art Institute of Chicago, or walking through parks with my mini dachshund, Mila.
