Background

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a passion for helping individuals and families improve their health through practical, personalized nutrition. My areas of interest include weight management, digestive health, diabetes management, and helping clients identify dietary habits that may be contributing to GI discomfort or making it harder to reach their health goals.

Through my private practice, I have worked with adults seeking support with weight loss, diabetes management, general wellness, and nutrition while using GLP-1 medications. My approach focuses on helping clients build balanced eating habits that support adequate nutrition, digestive health, and sustainable weight management rather than relying on overly restrictive diets.

I also bring experience in maternal and child nutrition from two years as a WIC Nutrition Educator, where I worked with pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and young children from a variety of backgrounds. This experience strengthened my ability to provide nutrition education that is practical, family-centered, and tailored to each client's individual needs.

I earned my bachelor's degree in nutrition and Dietetics from Keiser University and recently completed my Master of Science in Nutrition Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in 2025 and have been providing nutrition counseling through my private practice since March 2025. I am currently licensed in Alabama, Louisiana, and Maryland.

My background also includes agriculture, gardening, food preservation, and sustainability, which allows me to bring a broader food-systems perspective to nutrition counseling. My goal is to help clients develop realistic nutrition habits that improve their health, support a healthy relationship with food, and fit into their everyday lives.
