I'm a registered dietitian with a Master of Arts in Health Education. Prior to becoming a dietitian, I was a high school teacher, and I remain an educator at heart. I have spent years working in a top tier university research context, and value evidence based nutrition and behavior change techniques. As a busy working mom myself, I understand that nutrition needs to meet the health needs of a client and their family, and I strive to work with each client to set goals and make plans that align to their values, budget, preferences, and goals. I have extensive experience and training in family and child nutrition, adult and pediatric weight management. I believe that food can be both nourishing and delightful, and want to help that be a reality for you and your family!
"My approach as a dietitian is personalized and client-centered, focusing on each individual’s health, lifestyle, and goals. I aim to educate clients so they understand the "why" behind recommendations. I value collaboration, problem solving, and providing realistic, sustainable guidance that fits each person’s preferences, budget, and values. My goal is to empower clients with the knowledge and tools they need to make lasting, meaningful changes."
