I am an experienced Personal Trainer and Registered Dietitian whose goal is helping people feel their best and optimize their overall health. I believe that both physical activity and proper nutrition are integral parts of the prevention and treatment of many medical conditions, and as such, I always incorporate discussions about both into our sessions. When working with me, you can expect an evidence-based clinician that is committed to providing quality care, patient education, and making sure my clients feel both heard and understood. I take the time to fully explain medical conditions and concepts to ensure that you have a strong understanding of your current state of health. We will then work together to create a customized plan designed around your personal needs and preferences, and I will be there every step of the way to provide support as you implement your goals.
I have always had a love for science, and growing up as a competitive soccer player, I quickly discovered my passion for sports nutrition and learning about how certain eating habits can affect athletic performance. In college, I studied both Dietetics and Exercise Physiology to gain in-depth knowledge of how the human body responds to exercise, and how to utilize nutrition to fuel exercise adaptations and enhance overall performance. During that time, I completed extensive supervised practice rotations with multiple NCAA division 1 athletics programs working in the areas of sports science research, performance nutrition, and strength and conditioning. I also have a strong background in clinical nutrition after completing rotations at a level 2 trauma hospital where I provided medical nutrition therapy to acute-care and critically ill patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. I later completed a Master of Science degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Exercise Physiology and have continued to practice in both clinical and performance-based setting.
