Background

Hi, I’m Cintia! I’m a Registered Dietitian passionate about helping clients feel more confident and connected to food and their bodies—without restriction, shame, or confusion. My goal is for you to leave every session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with realistic tools that align with your values, culture, and lifestyle.

My approach to nutrition is personalized, inclusive, and rooted in evidence-based care. I specialize in areas such as intuitive eating, blood sugar management (including diabetes and gestational diabetes), women’s health, and Latinx-centered nutrition education. I also work with clients navigating chronic conditions and emotional relationships with food.

I earned both my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Nutrition Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed a dietetic internship with a focus on medical nutrition therapy and community health. I’m also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and often blend mindfulness and movement into my sessions when helpful.

Outside of work, you can find me cooking traditional Latin meals with a nourishing twist, teaching yoga, exploring new farmers markets, or spending time with my family and pets. I also love mentoring future RDs and creating bilingual resources that make nutrition more accessible for all.

I became a dietitian because I wanted to challenge the one-size-fits-all approach to health and empower people—especially women and communities of color—to take up space in wellness. Building my private practice has been a dream rooted in connection, culture, and care. I'm so glad you're here, and I can’t wait to work together!
