I currently have a Master's of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition as well as my RD credential. I have been practicing as a dietitian for a little over two years now. I love what I do. I became an RD to guide people/clients to a healthier lifestyle through nutrition, and I wouldn't ask for anything more than to talk about food. I decided to build a private practice because I am able to build strong relationships with my clients, and I am able to meet and work with all kinds of people with diverse nutritional needs, as well as different nutrition goals.
I expect my clients to leave our sessions feeling motivated and empowered to reach the nutrition goals they have set. Additionally, I expect clients to feel supported by me and to feel confident asking me nutrition questions about any topic they would like to know more about. My focus areas include weight loss, kidney disease, gut health, insulin resistance, and abnormal lab results such as high cholesterol.
In my free time, I love to read, hike, and go to ballet class. I also enjoy cooking and researching new recipes online to try out at home. Additionally, I love playing with my cat.
"My approach is to be my client's personal cheerleader when it comes to reaching their unique nutrition goals. My role as a dietitian is to help my clients develop confidence in their food choices. I utilize evidence-based strategies to enhance overall health, regulate cholesterol levels, promote gut health, manage celiac disease, support weight loss, and more."
