Background

Hi there! I’m Ashley. I'm a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist who finds joy in helping you find balance, peace, and confidence in your relationship with food and your body. I have over seven years of experience in the eating disorder field, and have worked at every level of care, including inpatient (IP), residential (RES), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient nutrition counseling. I focus on personalized, weight-inclusive nutrition counseling to help you feel at home in your body without fear, guilt, or restriction.

I specifically work with the following client populations: Eating disorders (ARFID, binge eating disorder, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, & OSFED); Severe and enduring eating disorders that may benefit from an out of the box approach; Co-occurring substance use and other additions, trauma, and other mental health disorders that impact food/body image; Neurodivergent adults; Clients who are frustrated with diet culture and are ready to explore something new; Clients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or suspect they may have PCOS.

Working with me means we take a Health At Every Size/non-diet approach, all foods (that you enjoy!) fit, you and I are a team - we work together on your goals, and treatment is individualized - we focus on what’s best for you in that moment.

If that all sounds good, let's connect!

Approach

My approach is compassionate, science-backed, and a little bit of playfulness. Whether you are recovering from an eating disorder or just wanting more nutrition support, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I offer a non-judgmental space and strive to meet clients where they are to work towards sustainable changes. I really enjoy my work in this field and consider myself a HAES-aligned, neurodivergent friendly, LGBTQ+ ally, non-diet dietitian.
