I have been a registered dietitian for over 20 years. From the age of 15, I knew that I wanted to be a registered dietitian. I fell in love with nutrition and health at that age. I had several health conditions at that time that really improved with nutrition intervention. I was convinced at that point that I wanted to help others learn about nutrition. I went on to become a registered dietitian and complete both a bachelors degree and a masters degree in nutrition.
When I work with clients, I expect them learn more about nutrition. I also expect them to work towards and achieve their unique health goals. I consider it an honor to be able to be a part of a client’s health journey. I take my responsibility to provide clients with excellent nutritional care very seriously.
When I am not working, I like to read, walk my dog, and play pickleball. I belong to two book clubs so I always have a good book to read. I also like to volunteer for organizations that I love.
I approach each client as the individual that they are. Each client has unique needs and health goals. I believe in using the modality and education that is the best fit for the client. My goal for each visit is client satisfaction and fulfillment. This approach allows me to put the client at the center of everything I do. I enjoy witnessing my clients’ growth and success when I use this approach.
