Hi there! I’m Alison, MEd, RD, LDN, a Registered Dietitian based in Massachusetts. I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Nutrition Education from Framingham State University, and completed my dietetic internship with the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, where I focused on geriatrics in long-term care, acute care, rehab, and outpatient settings.
Currently, I work as an inpatient dietitian at a Boston hospital, specializing in general cardiology, heart failure, and heart transplant. In this role, I collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, provide one-on-one nutrition counseling, and have the privilege of precepting dietetic interns and medical students.
I’m passionate about helping people build a positive relationship with food and feel confident in their nutrition choices. My goal is always to meet clients where they are and provide the tools and support they need to succeed—one small, sustainable step at a time.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, walking, reading, cooking, and baking. My grandmother was an amazing baker and taught me everything I know!
"My approach as an RD is grounded in evidence-based practice and centered around helping clients achieve their goals in a realistic and sustainable way. I take time to understand each client’s lifestyle, preferences, and barriers before creating a personalized nutrition plan. I believe it’s essential to meet clients where they are, providing education and support that empower them to make lasting, meaningful changes to their health and well-being."
