"To combat chronic diseases, I developed a strategy of counseling my patients that focuses on understanding the disease state, the relationship that food has on their body, and building a new perspective on how food can control disease. In turn, the patients can see a sizable reduction in their laboratory markers such as A1C, blood glucose, and blood pressure. Through my counseling, I empower patients with the ability to take control of their disease through diet modifications."
