Adekemi L.Adejare is a Clinical Dietitian at Inspira Hospital Network. She received her BS in Dietetics from the University of Central Missouri in 1998, as well as Food Protection Manager Certification from the International Food Safety Council in 1998. "To combat chronic diseases, I developed a strategy of counseling my patients that focuses on understanding the disease state, the relationship that food has on their body, and building a new perspective on how food can control disease. In turn, the patients can see a sizable reduction in their laboratory markers such as A1C, blood glucose, and blood pressure. Through my counseling, I empower patients with the ability to take control of their disease through diet modifications."
