I am Kourtney Vandenburgh, a registered dietitian from Southern California that takes a non-diet approach to nutrition while also taking into account any acute medical conditions that may be present. With extensive experience in eating disorder treatment, I combine extensive clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the psychological and emotional complexities of eating disorders. With a commitment to fostering a supportive, non-judgmental environment, I help clients navigate the challenges of nutrition therapy, aiming to rebuild a healthy relationship with food, body, and self. Drawing from a blend of clinical nutrition, behavioral therapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration, I work closely with therapists, physicians, and mental health professionals to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
Beyond specialized care for eating disorders, I have extensive experience managing the nutritional needs of patients dealing with chronic and acute medical conditions, including but not limited to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, renal failure, gastrointestinal disorders, oncology care, and critical illness.
