Background

I currently work full-time as a Nutritionist at WIC in Durham, NC. I educate on everything from plant-based proteins to specialty formula handling.

I spent several years coordinating national conferences through the Plant-based Prevention of Disease (P-POD) non-profit, where I created nutrition education content and helped connect communities to the power of plant-based eating. Also during this time, I designed interactive programs to support youth and families in building healthier habits through Wake Meds ENERGIZE program.

During my clinical internship at the Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority and Harris Regional Hospital, I provided individualized counseling and medical nutrition therapy for patients across all life stages, from pediatric to geriatric care. I especially valued opportunities to support detox and rehab clients and even helped develop a vegetarian menu still in use today.

Earlier on, I also worked at an eating disorder facility where I assisted residents with meal plan compliance and food preparation. This experiences instilled in me a deep respect for the emotional and behavioral side of nutrition.

Whether I’m designing a community program, decoding a food label, helping a new mom with breastfeeding nutrition, or talking with a teen about healthy snacks, my goal is always the same; to offer clarity, care, and confidence.

If you're looking for a dietitian who values whole-person care, creative problem-solving, and an open mind, I’d love to connect.
