I am a registered dietitian and public health professional with over 17 years of experience helping clients achieve sustainable and meaningful lifestyle changes. My experience as a registered dietitian ranges from maternal and pediatrics, nursing homes, and virtual care management for both pediatric and adult high-risk populations. With a strong foundation in clinical nutrition and population health, I help clients cut through the noise of diet culture and create personalized, evidence based strategies that actually fit into their lives. My mission is to simplify healthy living through practical meal planning, behavior change support, and smart habit-building.
What to expect when working with me:
-Sustainable strategies: Science-backed guidance tailored to your lifestyle.
-Supportive coaching: Positive encouragement and a judgement-free accountability partner. -Realistic meal planning: Meal planning tips designed to meet you at your skill level, especially those with busy schedules.
My journey started by earning my bachelor of science degree in dietetics from Michigan State University in 2006. From there, I attended East Carolina University where I participated in a master of science program in clinical nutrition and completed my dietetic internship in 2007. I obtained my certificate of training in adult weight management from the Commission of Dietetic Registration and credential as a Fellow, Academy for Healthcare Management (FAHM). I am currently finishing my last semester of my Master of Public Health degree at Michigan State University where I have focused research on effective pediatric obesity prevention programs, nutrition management with weight loss medications and weight management program development. I began my career driven by a passion to help others improve their health and well-being- and I continue to be inspired by clients who achieve meaningful, lasting change through our work together.
In my free time, you will find me exploring the outdoors and traveling with my busy toddlers, gardening, cooking, or taking strength-based exercise classes. As a busy mom, I understand the challenges of feeding a family while prioritizing your own health. I am here to help support you- whether you're taking small steps or making bold moves on your health journey.
