Background

Hi! I’m Jessica, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist dedicated to supporting my patients in managing weight, diabetes, heart health, kidney health, and women’s health, with a focus on incorporating a plant-forward approach to managing chronic conditions. My background in dietetics includes retail, clinical care, marketing, and public health education.

Growing up in culinary-rich Houston, Texas, I developed a deep passion for food early on! Although I was initially drawn to culinary school, my path led me to dietetics, where I learned how to blend my kitchen creativity with evidence-based science.

Food serves us in many ways and brings people together. My goal is to empower you to make informed choices that support your health, while also maintaining the freedom to enjoy all foods! As your dietitian, my top priority is to listen. I believe in approaching each session with empathy and understanding that everyone’s wellness journey is unique. Collaboration is at the heart of my counseling, and together we’ll create sustainable goals that fit your specific lifestyle, needs, and personality. I’m committed to guiding you in making long-term, positive changes that enhance your health and well-being, while rejecting restrictive diet rules and building a better relationship with food. Your health and happiness are my top priorities, and I’m here to support you every step of the way!

In my free time, I enjoy Pilates, discovering new restaurants and wines, and spending time outdoors. You might also meet my calico cat, Cinnamon, during our sessions 😊 I look forward to partnering with you on this journey to a healthier, happier you!
