Background

My name is Victoria Bongiorno, MS, RD, LD, CPT. I am a registered dietitian with a master of science degree in nutrition & dietetics from Hunter College, where I graduated valedictorian and Kappa Omicron Nu. I’m also a NASM-certified personal trainer with years of experience working with clients to build effective and enjoyable training programs. I have worked in various settings, including eating disorder treatment (outpatient, IOP, PHP, and residential), sports nutrition, substance abuse, and long-term care.

I believe in what I call the 3 pillars of health: nutrition, movement, and joy. All three influence each other, and creating a balance that supports our individual needs is how we achieve our best health.

I entered the health & fitness field because I have seen first hand the damage that can be done when misinformation is spread and efforts to get in shape are handled improperly. My goal is to guide you on a journey to discover your healthiest self and achieve your goals in a sustainable manner that sets you up for long-term success.

I want to help you avoid spending years on diets that make you miserable. I want to help you find peace with food and your body. We’ll work together to build a lifestyle in which the three pillars of health are in harmony: nutrition, movement, and joy.
