I’m a registered dietitian passionate about helping individuals create healthier relationships with food and develop a nutrition plan for life. Throughout my career, I have focused on working with individuals struggling with eating disorders and gastrointestinal conditions as well as clients interested in general health and sports nutrition. I actively pursue continuing education to ensure I am up to date on the latest nutrition science and my academic background gave me strong foundational insight and competency in the field of nutrition. After completing my bachelor’s degree in dietetics at the University of Florida, I went on to complete my master’s degree in exercise physiology & sports nutrition at Florida State University. This gave me in-depth knowledge about the interplay between nutrition, physical activity, and health. I truly believe that food should be fun - not a chore or stressful part of life. I believe in helping individuals fall in love with food again and build better relationships with their bodies because everyone deserves to have a fulfilling and nutritious life. Outside of work, I am a dedicated cat-mom to three handsome furry gentlemen, including one cat with diabetes and another with no teeth! I am also an avid skier, life-long guitarist, and baking aficionado, and I love exploring all the beautiful nature in my home state of California.
I focus on helping my clients make small, sustainable changes that add up to big transformations. I partner with my clients to identify evidence-based nutrition practices that work best for them, but always with a Health-At-Every-Size approach. When working with clients, I incorporate intuitive and mindful eating techniques, motivational interviewing, specialized diets/meal plans if needed, and solution-focused treatment.
